St. Thomas More Society (STMS), Sacramento, California

--An independent organization sponsored by Catholic lawyers (open to attorneys, other legal professionals, and legislative advocates of any religious persuasion) in the Sacramento area.

STMS is an affiliate of the Sacramento County Bar Association.

The purposes of the STMS are

** to serve as a mutual support group,
** to foster individual spiritual growth,
** to further interfaith understanding, and
** to promote the teachings of the Second Vatican Council.

The group does not engage in advocacy, take stands on controversial political questions, or engage in fund raising.
The STMS gathers for a Mass (or prayer service) and lunch during most months at the Newman Center at Cal-State Sacramento (CSUS) -- 5900 Newman Court, off "H" Street. Ample parking is available, both in front of and behind the building.

Our next meeting will be Wednesday, December 10th.

A special welcome to those thinking of attending for the first time, or returning after an absence. You are welcome to bring guests.
